The ICCL Fellowship 2026 was granted to Prof. Dr. Irit Ballas.
She is a Senior Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Law and a Research Associate at the Centre for Criminology, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on criminal law in emergencies and political conflict, and has been published in, inter alia, the Toronto Law Journal, Theoretical Criminology, and Law & Social Inquiry.
Irit is staying at the Institute for Comparative Criminal Law (Prof. Dr. Bettina Weisser) for the month of July.
